There are chunks of my past that I can't remember. All that remains are vague feelings and some indistinct visual recollections. To make these collages, I cut my figure out of photographs to create paper silhouettes that were then altered to cast eerie, mysterious shadows, even though they were flat and one-dimensional -- like my elusive memories.
