Photo action at Darlowo79 artist plain-air (art colloquium. A one-week residency) Polish avant-garde artists and curators had gathered for collective and collaborative art production in a remote setting For my project, I initiated a performance in the town square, wherein an friend/actor positioned himself on a series of benches. He was instructed to sit on every single bench and to assume the same position each time. He remained constant while the people and activity around him were in flux. The over-arching purpose of the action, which I documented in a series of photographs, was to explore the connection (or lack thereof) between local residents and we young photographers, outsiders who had invited ourselves to this community.
